A Gentle Reminder - Don't Forget To Pray!

We seem to be so busy in the things we do each day! Many Christians work eight hours a day at a job with deadlines, expectations, and always have an eye on the clock. Other Christians have families and responsibilities with a day that is never truly their own, and, somehow, it is always a little too short. A few Christians live with pain every day, working through that pain by filling up their day with busy work to keep their minds as clear as they are able. So many things to do in such a small amount of time! Does that sound like your day? Does it seem like it is jam-packed full of duties that must be done with extra-curricular activities filling up the rest of the day until you cannot squeeze in one more small  task?

Here is a gentle reminder and a kindhearted question:  Are you making time to pray? It always seems like we can manage to find time to do those things we want to do, but are we finding time to pray about those things that are important like your Bible students? When was the last time you remembered to mention your Bible students by name in prayer? Are there situations in their lives in which you can help by simply praying?  Did you know that "the effectual fervent prayer of righteous man availeth much?" (James 5:16).  Yes, there is much to do, but there is also much to pray about! Remember your Bible students during your prayer time. It can make a great difference! Let us make our requests known to God and He will answer our humble prayers. (Philippians 4:6). Let us continue to pray, be watchful, and thankful. (Colossians 4:2).
